About me

Why I stand with Standing Rock

I’ve said it before and I will say it again, only when they are left to eat the dollar and drink their gold will they understand why every tree and every fish was our earth’s heart. When we have contaminated all the water and our children get sick who will we call upon?

Did you know America has the largest network of energy pipelines in the world? With more than 2.4 million miles of pipe. The network of crude oil pipelines in the U.S. is extensive. There are approximately 72,000 miles of crude oil lines in the U.S. that connect regional markets.

More noted areas of the pipeline are those in which spills or accidents happen in. Since 2010, over 3,300 incidents of crude oil and liquefied natural gas leaks or ruptures have occurred on U.S. pipelines. These incidents have killed 80 people, injured 389 more, and cost $2.8 billion in damages. They also released toxic, polluting chemicals in local soil, waterways, and air.

These issues are not new, and environmentalists from around the world have been fighting this fight for a long time!

With the most recent fight being Standing Rock North Dakota. An amazing moment being made in history.

The Dakota Access pipeline is proposed to transport crude oil from North Dakota through South Dakota and Iowa into Illinois. Traveling through 50 counties in 4 states. This project is set to be done by the beginning of coming year.

With mix media coverage the mission can be lost. When you gather hundreds of individual people who feel strongly about anything, sparks with happen.

Here is why I stand with Standing Rock and why I will be joining the thousands of water protectors in North Dakota this freezing winter.

I am taking my voice to say enough is enough. Government and private companies can not continue to destroy our only Earth. The oppression of the  Native American people will not be tolerated.

Continue to drive the people to the streets in protest and you are only creating an army of your enemy’s. The world is shifting, there is an awakening in the soul. America no longer trusts it’s President, no longer feels safe with police and is scared of the American dream debts.

I will not let them cut the last tree, I will not let them kill our last fish. I will stand for this earth. I will stand for equality. I will stand for peace. I will stand for the future of humanity.
